 Welcome to Midlands Family Medicine

OUR HISTORY

Midlands Family Medicine was founded in 1995 by doctors Gary L. Conell and Jeffrey C. Brittan. Physician Assistant Dave Arthur came to the practice with Dr. Conell. Mr. Arthur has been practicing with Dr. Conell since 1975. Doctor Douglas J. States joined the practice after completing his family practice residency in 1995. Mary Dailey, a nurse practitioner, started providing patient care at Midlands Family Medicine in 1997. Dr. Bryan D. Nokelby joined the practice in 1998. Dr. Jason M. Citta joined the practice in 2002.

Our Healthcare providers have grown to a staff of five physicians, a nurse practitioner, a physician's assistant, and several UNMC resident physicians.

Midlands Occupational Medicine
Midlands Family Medicine founded Midlands Occupational Medicine in 1996. More information about Midlands Occupational Medicine is available at www.occmedne.com.

University of Nebraska Rural Residency Program
In 1998, the University of Nebraska, after careful review of the physicians and the medical community of North Platte, selected Midlands Family Medicine to host a family physician Rural Training Tract Residency Program.
